Production for the short animation film made use of old school techniques such as manipulating clear gel to imitate the movement of water. The doll is the artist’s doll from childhood and the dress and props were made by the artist.
Installation was presented in February, 2016 in Prague at Swan Divadelni Klub in collaboration with Prague Shakespeare Company. The stop-animation film was projected on the wall in monumental proportion with 4 small video frames hung below with different water scenes shot in Stromovka park. The soundtrack was recorded and sung by Jessica Boone for the short film. The film can be viewed through the link on Vimeo.
Angel Bird 2016

This stop animation short film was inspired by a small bird found frozen on the ground one winter day in the park. The short film is a memorium to the creature as well as a tribute to Oscar Wilde and his story, “The Happy Prince.”
The short film premiered in the Sidewalk Festival in August, 2016 in North America.
